Marketing’s number one mission is driving traffic to our stores in a cost-efficient, brand-building manner. Our talented in-house team strategically develops and carefully implements our data-driven event and media plan, targeted to our core customer. From planning through execution, we focus on creative content and promotional offers that break through clutter to communicate Ashley’s unique value proposition as the number one name in furniture across the United States.
In addition, Marketing serves as the communication funnel point of Broad River, issuing news releases to our markets and the home furnishings industry on company events and key accomplishments. Other communication tools include digital intracompany communications and our internal Broad River Network, which includes video screens with company news, updates, visiting guests and social activities at the Corporate Office in Fort Mill, SC.
Marketing also spearheads Broad River’s community and charitable partnerships with organizations such as Beds for Kids, the St. Jude Dream Home, and others with a special interest in serving children. These activities offer us the opportunity to give back to the communities in which we live and serve, and help us to enrich the lives of those in need. Volunteering to serve others has become a hallmark of life at Broad River.
